Looking towards the future

We are entering in the era of the Knowledge Economy. That a sort of Knowledge-Based Capital (KBC) is driving economic growth and is gaining prevalence in today’s global marketplace. KBC includes a broad range of intangible assets which express human ingenuity.

Hold the vision

The knowledge will be the currency that will enable everybody to get the best of the new global economy. This new currency enables anyone and everyone to participate or contribute with knowledge as an asset or capital.

Knowledge asset

A Wit by definition “stuff that makes sense” is the future smart digital assert for knowledge. Wits stored in the Blockchain could interact witch each other and inspire society.

First knowledge token

Witcoin is the currency that support and reward open knowledge exchanges and connections to set up the foundations of a knowledge-based economy.

Pay some witcoins to get your knowledge registered.

Registering a wit you will obtain and unique identify of your interactive smart knowledge asset. You can enrich your wit with detailed information or media files. Moreover, you will receive notifications about your wit connections and rewards.

When you disclose your knowledge use your wit identify.

Your audience can consult your wit at any time and inspire new knowledge.

Each time a new knowledge is connected to your Wit you will receive Witcoins as reward.

Welcome to the new
knowledge economy!

Wit is and Smart contract on the top of Ethereum blockchain. Despite of storing the knowledge into the blockchain, the wit provide links to the knowledge location resources ( RFC3986) and stores the checksum as proof of existence. Moreover  as well as wits interaction. The wit minim specification cover linking to media resources, basic metadata schema structure and wit citations. Like standard ERC 2o  and can be upgrade with other specifications ERC 223. the Wit specification will be updated to represent different kind of knowledge (scientific papers , books, invocation collaborations, Intellectual property) and new knowledge interactions.

Witcoin is and ERC20 Ethereum token compliant with the ERC223 specifications. Moreover, Witcoin follows the new standard for knowledge tokens.

A knowledge token is linked with a knowledge storage. Each time a new knowledge (aka wit) is created the knowledge token (aka Witcoin) increment the token supply and distribute the new tokens created as rewards.

The Witcoin platform is formed by a group of Ethereum smart contracts responsible of control the knowledge economy. Their responsibilities are:

Handle the of wit creation and store their address.

Notify the creation of new knowledge to the knowledge token ( aka witcoin).

Distribute the Witcoins rewards for wit connections.

Use case example

The Token sale starts on Monday 16th of October at 07:00 GMT and ends on Monday 6th of November.
There will be available between 4.2 Million Witcoins and 5.2 Million Witcoins
depending of the results of the pre-sale.
The minimum goal for the project is to achieve a sale of 1Million Witcoins.
If this milestone is not achieved all transfers will be rolled back.
We accept the following coins: ETH, BTC, XMR, DASH, LTC, BCH, BNT and ANT.
We have fixed exchange at the following rates:

The minimum transaction amount for participation on the sale is the amount equivalent to 100 Witcoins.
There is no maximum transaction amount.
We will apply additional bonus equivalent to the number of tokens bought in a single transaction:
0 – 2,500 WIT = no bonus
2,501 – 80,000 WIT = 5% additional Witcoins
80,001 – 800,000 WIT = 10% additional Witcoins
> 800,001 WIT = 20% additional Witcoins

The initial supply will be 288.000.000 WIT
1.000.000 WIT will be distributed on the PRE-SALE at advantageous rates

Up to 8.000.000 WIT will be distributed during the 1st TOKEN CROWDSALE phase
The rest of the initial supply of WIT will be distributed during the 2nd and 3rd phases planned in 2018
